The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The assistance place created for intervention experiences sassa status a high inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to allow the servicing SRD of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
